Screen Print Explained:
1. A process whereby ink is forced onto a surface through a meshed screen to create a picture or pattern.
2. Ideal for branding flat or cylindrical objects with large printing areas.
3. A cost-effective solution, perfect for larger quantities.
4. Provides excellent coverage and is especially good for large, bold designs.
5. Allows for up to a 6-colour print and is ideal for bags and t-shirts.
6. Applications: Pens, drinkware, tote bags, umbrellas, cooler bags, notebooks, folders and more
1
A fine mesh screen is coated with a green emulsion that is light sensitive and water soluble.
2
A special ink is applied to the screen in the shape of your custom design.
3
When the screen is exposed to UV light, the emulsion hardens, apart from the section shielded from the light by the special ink.
4
The screen is then sprayed with water which washes the ink away and presses it through the mesh in the shape of your design.
5
Thereafter, the screen gets locked into the station where printing ink is poured onto it.
6
A thin layer of ink is spread onto the screen, which seeps through the logo portion of the mesh and onto your item.
